Partner

Tony is a very experienced lawyer, and specializes in family and related areas of the law.  He works as a child representative in the Family Court, Federal Circuit Court and the Tasmanian Magistrates Court. He has a busy practice in matrimonial property and child issues.  Tony also oversees the firm’s conveyancing practice.

Roland works in the civil and criminal areas, including administrative review, anti-discrimination, environment and planning and federal workers compensation. In the criminal area he has a busy practice defending forest protesters and other civilly disobedient people.

Claire White

Claire is one of our bright stars.

Claire graduated from the University of Tasmania in 2006 with a combined degree of Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Laws. Claire worked in the private sector for several years before being admitted as a practitioner of the Supreme Court of Tasmania in August 2010. After a year as an Associate to Justice Alan Blow, she joined FitzGerald and Browne. Her work is largely in the areas of family and criminal law, and includes a practice in the State and Federal Magistrates Courts. Claire also volunteers at the Hobart Community Legal Service and is a member of the Southern Young Lawyers Committee.

Cassandra Greggimage

A super lawyer and super mum.

Cassandra graduated from the University of Tasmania in 2002 with a combined degree of Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws. She was admitted as a practitioner of the Supreme Court of Tasmania 2003 and has practised since that time, and continues to practice in, family law and commercial law (including conveyancing).
Cassandra particularly specialises in the area of family law. She is the Chair of the Family Law Practitioners Association, is on the child representative panel in the Magistrates Court (Children’s Division) of Tasmania, and is an ICL (Independent Children’s Lawyer) for the Family Court of Australia and the Federal Circuit Court.

Meaghan Jonesimage

Another one of our bright stars.

Meaghan graduated from the University of Tasmania in 2008 with a Bachelor of Law and a Bachelor of Arts.  She was admitted into practice in mid-2009 and expects to complete a Masters of Applied Family Law in mid-2013.

She works in the Family Law and Estates areas.

Since being admitted, Meaghan has worked at a firm in Launceston and a boutique family law firm in Melbourne, where she was exposed to a variety of issues.  That has led to experience in dealing with a wide range of children’s issues including care arrangements of children, international and interstate relocation cases and grandparent matters.  She has also gained experience in a range of property matters, including Financial Agreements, spousal maintenance, adult child maintenance, child support, divorce applications, and of course, property settlements. 

Meaghan sits on the Southern Young Lawyers Committee and volunteers her time at the Hobart Community Legal Centre. 

Colleen Burdon

Colleen handles much of the firm’s conveyancing, administers our trust account and manages the general office accounting.  She is a gem!  She is also a legend on the badminton court!
