FitzGerald and Browne specialises in litigation and conveyancing; but we also do commercial work and provide advice to a wide range of clients in any number of areas.

The principal strength of the practice is in the children and matrimonial areas, where we represent clients in the Magistrates Court of Tasmania, the Federal Circuit Court of Australia and the Family Court of Australia.

We also represent clients facing criminal charges in the Magistrates Court of Tasmania and the Supreme Court of Tasmania, and work in other litigation related areas such as environment, planning, administrative appeals and administrative law.

There are some areas that FitzGerald and Browne does not practice in. We do not do motor vehicle accident personal injury work and neither do we do state worker’s compensation claims.

Whatever area we do work in, and whoever we represent, we try to represent our client to the best extent possible.
